Rogier van den Heuvel leads team representing Petrobras in Dutch Caribbean aspects of inquiry procedure

VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne has successfully concluded the inquiry procedure of its client Petrobras. Counsel and litigation specialist Rogier van den Heuvel led the team that represented Petrobras in the Dutch Caribbean aspects of the enormous inquiry procedure, in which multiple transactions in multiple jurisdictions were investigated. Other team members included partner Randolph van Eps and various associates. VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne was instructed by the Houston office of DLA Piper LLP; the lead counsel in the matter.

Inquiry procedures are a relatively new legal instrument in Curaçao. Since the introduction in 2012, only 12 inquiry procedures have been initiated. VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne was involved in approximately half of them.
