Lorena was born in Colombia and raised in the Netherlands. In 2013, she graduated in corporate law at the University of Utrecht. She obtained an LL.M. degree Political Science focused on international relations as well, at the University of Amsterdam.
As a student and after graduation, Lorena gained experience through internships at several commercial law firms and with the legal department of Ahold. Furthermore, Lorena worked as a volunteer for the Red Cross. After graduation and before joining VanEps Kunneman VanDoorne, she worked in the field of asylum and immigration law.
